February 12, 2017 saw the second running of the Fat Cupid Classic fat bike race in Appleton, Wisconsin. For the second year in a row, the race was held by the Northeast Wisconsin Trails organization at Art Lecker Park, and sponsored in part by our good friends at the Recyclist Bicycle Company of Kaukauna. Check them out if you're ever in need of a fat, or non-fat bike. We took a couple cameras, and a selection of lenses, to get some shots of the action.

We are often reminded through the media of imagery how beautiful and interesting life truly is in Wisconsin. Whether it is a young girl taking a walk with her father on one of Wisconsin’s wooded trails or the fluffy white Wisconsin snow lightly sprinkling a chickadee — Wisconsin reveals many stories and provides many magical scenes. As explorers with cameras in hand, we search for that story — that image that stimulates a powerful emotion — and ones that are instantly engaging or create a state of contemplation.

We enjoy the process of photography, from location scouting, to framing the shot and hitting the shutter button. Even before that, we love the gear and the technology. But, even in today's world of digital everything, it really is the final print that matters.

We offer a variety of services, including portraits, headshots, event coverage, weddings and commercial work. We love shooting this work for our clients, but we also love creating fine art landscapes. We shoot these with specific print styles in mind. We created this beautiful image, for example, as one that would be tailored specifically for printing on canvas.

We were honored to be a part of Chris and Cheryl's wedding on August 27, 2016. Prior to the wedding, we interviewed the couple about their love for one another and how they met. We began their love story by arriving at a place that had a special meaning to them. Chris had been renovating an historic family barn and this was to be the location of their wedding reception.

Andrew, the owner at a new MMA and fitness studio in Appleton, Wisconsin, contacted us to find out if we could photograph his club's grand opening. Sure we can, we told him!

For the second year in a row, our friends at the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley asked us to photograph their major annual fundraising event, Vintage in the Valley.
